OVERVIEW

Glance is a content consumption platform that reaches over 400 million smartphones across India and Southeast Asia, generating revenue primarily through lock screen ads. Now, Glance is entering the U.S. market with a more dynamic approach—transforming the lock screen from a passive content experience into a smart, interactive space.


Glance Spaces are live, customizable zones on the lock screen, allowing users to engage with content that aligns with their specific interests, much like widgets.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Since we're shifting to a utility-driven experience, we have to optimize the lock screen to act as a gateway for third-party apps and services while keeping users at its core.

Travel

While waiting for a flight, users can easily access their boarding pass and vaccination certificate and enjoy a quick mini-game to pass the time.

Work Breaks!

Listen to Spotify while getting quick tournament updates on the lock screen, with an option for a 5-minute gaming break.

Gaming Section

After opening the gaming section from the lock screen, highlight relevant in-app purchases from their most played games for a more personalized experience.
